  • Guided and taught climbing from 1990 to 2002. Guide service was accredited by the American Mountain Guides Association.
Rich is a member of the ACA's Board of Directors and oversees the ACA's training programs.

on first descents.  He is known for his ability to 
create anchors when resources are sparse.  He loves sharing his extensive knowledge of canyoneering techniques with others.

  • Have backpacked the Presidential Range in CO, Bear Tooths in MT, Death Valley, CA, backcountry canoe trip in the Okeefenokee Swamp, FL and numerous trips in Utah.
  • Spelunking in many Virginia caves while in college
Interests - Traveling, hiking, designing jewelry and
the lure of a faint trail.
